What’s your background Josh – how and why did you start Melbourne Private Tours?  We started the company in 2008. it was built upon a foundation of creativity and passion for travel and adventure, culinary delights, and allowing our guests to discover the sophistication of Melbourne and the pleasures of regional Victoria. Melbourne

Which tours would you recommend for  families with younger children?  We have a page on our web site all about family tours, those that I would suggest as being ‘extra’ family friendly would be our: Dandenong Ranges, Mornington Peninsula, Essential Melbourne (with morning bike ride) and Ballarat & Sovereign Hill experiences.

Which are your top two most popular tours that you offer? Our Phillip Island Ranger Led Adventure and our Great Ocean Road Drive Fly

Melbourne city has many great restaurants, which top 3 would you recommend? I could list 100 in the restaurant capital of Australia! Three personal favorites of mine would be: Coda, Cumulus Inc and Chin Chin for quintessential Melbourne dining experiences.

What vehicles do you have on your fleet, and what group sizes are you able to facilitate? Only the best! All of our vehicles are luxury Mercedes. Perfect for private touring for small family groups and couples. Having said that, incentive groups of anywhere between 10 and 200 have been the largest growth area of our business in the past three years.

Great Ocean Road

Other than Melbourne which Australian destinations would you include in a two week itinerary? I’m a sun/surf lover. I can’t resist Byron Bay in northern New South Wales. I was recently in Margaret River, south of Perth and that is one place that ticks all the boxes for me – great food and wine, perfect weather, spectacular beaches and, and, and…
